Ruth was recently interviewed by the online journal Mystic Mag about her career, what prompted her to create New Earth Energy School, and what it takes to heal the soul.
Here’s a little excerpt:
“Your journey into the world of energy healing began at a young age. Could you share a pivotal moment or experience that sparked your interest and ultimately led you to pursue a career in this field?
I would say that more than simply knowing I wanted to pursue energy healing, I just had this drive—a compelling need—to help people. I felt a sense of urgency to contribute in a meaningful way. In my late twenties and early thirties, I found myself grappling with an existential crisis. Despite working as a social worker and assisting others, I didn’t feel as though I was making a significant impact. I questioned the effectiveness of my efforts and sought ways to extend my reach.
During a trip to the Arctic, where I reside in the northern regions, I stayed awake the entire night meditating, pondering what my contribution to the world could be. When morning broke, clarity dawned upon me: I would become a meditation teacher and delve into energy healing. It was as though a revelation had occurred during that sleepless night.
Subsequently, I delved deeper into meditation and pursued energy healing training. As I immersed myself in this practice, I recognized that it had always been a part of my essence since childhood. They say that one finds their purpose when it resonates with how they felt as a child, and this realization rang true for me.”
